But as passions grow, crisis looms in the café. And all is not what it seems in Veena’s family. Soon, Veena and Shelley are forced to choose where their loyalties lie.

How To Dump Your Boyfriend

How To Dump Your Boyfriend

A Guide By Kym Cooper & Carl Peters

Dumping your boyfriend is never an easy decision. Most girls experience moments when they wish their bloke would vanish with his weightlifting kit, his beer cans and his slobby habits.  If these moments start multiplying like rabbits, then it's time to wake up and smell the coffee: the guy needs ditching! Now with this book, dumping has never been easier.  It will be  like a best friend, guiding readers through  all the stages.  Fun (but revealing) quizzes, sections and questions will help weary girls make the decision to finally dump.  The book also looks at that tricky period immediately after the guy has been dumped so girls don’t slide back into their awful guy’s arms.

How To Dump Your Girlfriend

Dumping Her Just Got Easier!

How to dump your girlfriend is a dilemma most blokes face from time to time. So the authors (and friends) have taken it upon themselves to put this guide together. Much of his information has been road tested by them through their own experience with girlfriends. They have also done extensive research at bars, clubs, football terraces, chat rooms, speed dating evenings and around the edges of dance floors. The rest they have made up.

For those having girlfriend trouble, or those who have a friend who is going through such trouble, this is the book they need. It may or may not solve your problems. But it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Praise Songs For Aliens

Segun Lee-French populates his poetry with a medley of voices in a breezy and yet complex navigation of time, culture, memory and dream.  Drawing on Nigerian praise song, imagism and the Afro-surrealist expressionism of Baraka, Joans and Cesaire, he allows a collision of atmospheres, ghosts, moments and location to provoke emotion.  Read and admire.

The Seamstress and the Global Garment

Maya Chowdhry’s voice springs directly from the soul. It is authentic, sensuous and urgent.   Although dreamlike, her poems are not vague. They rankle with precision and are fuelled by the collision of colonial and family history. Anger gives way to the generosity of love and the open-heart of humour.

Her politics take us from the city to the sea, via barges and bedrooms. From spices to the post office, nothing is too small, too insignificant, to be part of her manifesto for a new, responsible observation.
